Welcome to Partners for Breast Cancer Care
Our mission is to save lives and reduce suffering from breast cancer through improved early detection, education, and access to healthcare.
Partners for Breast Cancer Care, Inc. is a unique organization that is dedicated to serving our community's women and men who desperately need our help. We fund breast screening, diagnostic testing and treatment for underserved Lee County women and men at no cost to them. Our clients are carefully screened for qualification. We have experienced an increase in the number of people needing our services in the past few years while funding has become increasingly more difficult to secure. We are a “one-of-a-kind" organization offering no-cost breast health care to Lee County residents, many of whom have nowhere else to turn for assistance.
Partners for Breast Cancer Care, Inc. is the only non-profit organization in Lee County that provides no-cost breast screening, diagnostic testing and treatment to low-income, uninsured women and men of any age. Since 2006 we have helped 9,036 residents and provided nearly 14,000 breast care procedures at no cost to our clients. During this time we have expended $1,844,679. Our services fund mammograms, ultrasounds, stereotactic, ultrasound-guided, MRI guided biopsies, surgical consultations, breast MRI, excisional breast biopsy, lumpectomy, mastectomy, radiation therapy and chemotherapy. In the past 10 years we have diagnosed 1 man and 130 women with breast cancer.
