Our Program....
Client Services
A case manager guides each client through the health care system and provides counseling and information about other community resources.
We have assisted over 7000 women and men who have qualified for our program with the diagnosis and treatment cost of breast cancer.
All of our funds are raised locally through grants and donations. We receive no federal, state, county or city funding. We are a United Way agency and they state that 90% of funds raised are utilized for client services and treatment. We are audited yearly by Stroemer & Company, PA.
Eligibility
- Must have lived in Lee County continuously for the past 12 months
- Must have no health insurance of any kind
- Must have a prescription from a doctor (i.e. for a mammogram)
- Must have a valid social security card
- Must have Lee County ID with current address to prove residency
- Must meet the 2011 financial guidelines of 200% of the poverty level
- $1,815 a month or less for a single person
- $2,452 a month or less for a family of two
- $3,088 a month or less for a family of three
- $3,725 a month or less for a family of four
- $4,362 a month or less for a family of five
- $4,998 a month or less for a family of six

Partners in Health
Our program could not and would not exist without the support of our Partners in Health.
