Partners The name of our organization, Partners for Breast Cancer Care, was chosen to represent the invaluable partnerships we have in the community. Without our “Partners”, we could not fulfill our mission to the residents of Lee County .
Our most important relationship is with our Partners in Health, who take care of our clients at greatly reduced fees. These include all 6 hospitals in Lee County , and numerous surgeons, radiologists, anesthesiologists, and oncologists – over 100 in all.

The Building Better Lives program has donated to our organization since July of 2001 for a total of $xxx,xxx. Please refer to the events page for more information regarding this wonderful program.
The United Way of Lee County
Since 2003, we have been fortunate to be a member organization of the United Way of Lee County . Their financial support, along with advice and mentoring, has allowed us to grow as an organization, and to treat the ever-increasing number of uninsured and underserved members of our community.
In 2003, we were granted $15,000 from the United Way , and a $25,000 grant in 2004. Partners received $35,000 from the United Way for 2005. We recieved a $25,000.00 allocation for 2007 - 2008.

This organization is providing assistance through Partners to many women on Pine Island and North Cape Coral. Please refer to the events page for more information.

The Susan G. Komen Southwest Florida Affiliate
The Susan G. Komen organization awarded an affiliation to Southwest Florida almost four years ago. This organization is dedicated to helping women across the United States who have been diagnosed with breast cancer. Partners was awarded a $125,000.00 grant for 2007 - 2008. The national website is www.komen.org and has valuable information about breast cancer. The local website is www.komenswfl.org and has all the local information. Partners supports the efforts of the local affiliate.
With Gratitude To… Over the last 18 months we have been extraordinarily blessed with donations from many different sources, which have enabled us to continue taking care of the marked increase in the number of clients. Our deepest gratitude to the following:
The Southwest Florida Community Foundation - $15,000 grant received in May 2004 for treatment of African-American and Hispanic clients. We received $12,500 to continue those efforts in March of 2005. We also received $5,000.00 in 2007.
Pelican Preserve Calendar – the efforts of the women at Pelican Preserve enabled them to donate $7500 to us. They donated $40,000.00 in 2007 - Great Job!
The Tortoise and the Hair Salon raised $2,100.00 last year by having a month long Chinese raffle in October. They hope to double this in 2008!
Cape Coral Kiwanis gave us a dontation of $5,000.00.
Giving Alliance for Women - This is a group of women in Cape Coral who give back to the community and they are a component of the Cape Coral Community Foundation.. We received $3000 in 2003, $4000 in 2004, and $3945 in 2005 to be used for women in Cape Coral.
Cape Coral Community Foundation - $4,000 grant for 2007 - 2008.
Zonta Club of Sanibel-Captiva - $2640 donated in 2003, $2500 in 2004, and $2500 in 2005.
Zonta Club of Bonita Springs - $1500 in 2004. $2,500.00 in 2006 - 2007.
Bishop Verot High School - The students donate money each year so they can wear jeans on a specific day and we receive the proceeds. In 2003 it was $1250, 2004 it was $1135 and 2005 it was $818. Students also sold magnets under the direction of Deanna Engelbrecht and donated $300 in October 2005.
Legal Medical Golf Tournament - This event has raised over $53,500 for our organization since 2000.
John Michaels Jewelry Fundraiser/Auction raised $500.00 in 2007.
Contemporary Women’s Club of Fort Myers donated $450 in 2004, $500 in 2005.
Dunes Tennis Tournament - held in February 2007 raised over $3000 for Partners.
Heart ‘N Home in Cape Coral had a lemonade stand at their store fair and donated $213.
Cape Coral Plumbing raised $500.00.
"The Boys of Winter" Hockey Team raised $800.00.
Trinkets for Treatment (Zonta of Bonita Springs) raised $4,000.00.
So many have done so much so we can provide services for our clients.
